Mr.William Chu was born in Taiwan and moved to Singapore when he was 12 years old. Mr.William Chu received both his MBA and BBA from University of San Francisco. He worked in Macy's San Francisco for two years as assistant buyer for Young Men’s Knits and Woven department and Small Leather Goods department. He returned back to Singapore to serve as Managing Director of Chutex in1989.

Ms Chu joined Chutex in Year 1993, Project Managing Chutex’s construction and renovation projects, which includes the set-up of the machineries, furniture, showroom, and computer system of Chutex’s facilities.

Ms Chu studied Architecture in London’s Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. During the course of her education she has obtained Bachelor of Science Degree and Diploma in Architecture. She also worked for a year in an Architect’s firm in central London before returning to Singapore.

In Year 2000, Ms Chu has been involved in locating suitable land to expand Chutex facilities in Vietnam. Ms Chu lead the Project Team to design and construct Chutex’s Vietnam factory. The total built-up area is approximately 30,000sq.m. The factory is completed in Year 2001. In Year 2002, Ms Chu again lead the Project Team in expanding Chutex’s Vietnam factory by another 15,000sq.m.

Chutex has in Year 2003 expanded into China. The land chosen is at the border of Shanghai City, Kunshan Dianshanhu Lake Town. She is in-charge of the Project Team in China to design and construct Chutex facilities in Dianshanhu Town. The total built-up area is approximately 72,000sq.m. The facility includes two factory buildings, a canteen, and a 3,000 persons dormitory. The facility has been in operation since 2005.

Dr. Chu is currently Vice President of operations at Chutex Enterprises in Kunshan. Dr. Chu oversees certain marketing and sourcing undertakings, as well as production planning, quality assurance, and merchandising in the factory. Within the Chutex Group, Dr. Chu is involved in corporate planning and strategy. Before joining Chutex Kunshan in 2004, Dr. Chu worked as a financial advisor for three years at Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. Dr. Chu received his bachelor degree in Economics and East Asian Languages from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994, and subsequently received his MA at Stanford University in 1995. Dr. Chu continued to pursue his studies and received a Doctorate Degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 2001.

Mr. Allen Hu was born in Taiwan and graduated from Chun Yuan University, Taiwan. He worked in COSMOS Group as Vice President for 15 years, Cosmos represent for following brands: Polo Raulgh Lauren, Calvin Klein, Arrrow shirts, Swatch, Charles Jourdan, Stafanel—etc.

Prior to joining the group, he was the Finance and Admin manager of a Japanese multi-national company. Tony also had a stint in auditing and accounting with a public accounting firm and a bank. He has been in the finance and accounting field for more than 20 years.

He is a member of the professional institutions such as Singapore Human Resources Institute (MSHRI), Singapore Institute of Management (MSIM), the Association of Taxation Technicians Singapore (ATT), and Singapore Institute of Engineering Technologists.

Ms Ng joined Chutex Group in 1995 . Ms Ng plans and implements
marketing strategies in expanding current customer base and identifying
market opportunities globally. Ms Ng is also responsible to lead the group’s
research & product development team to initiate creativity and innovation
in the areas of raw materials , designs, screen printing, embroidery and
new technology. Ms Ng is also responsible for sourcing of raw materials
from Asia .

Ms Ng holds a Bachelor of Science from Singapore Institute of Management.

After graduated from Taiwan TamKang University, he works as a Production Manager in Taiwan Garments Co more than 8 years. He was move to Singapore and joined in Chutex Group from 1990.

Mr. David Nieh, Director of Production is responsible for the production planning for Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Shanghai. He also leads the merchandising team to follow up on order details including raw materials, accessories, printing and embroidery. Mr. David Nieh’s role in production planning serves as a bridge between the marketing and production department to ensure the most productive and efficient outputs.

Ms Chen coordinate all raw material management between all local and overseas countries. All fabric sourcing team share a well maintained working relationship with all major fabric mills as a team to achieve in Asia.

Chutex’s sourcing team understands the importance of the raw material management and the buyer’s requirement of fats truck and reduced cycle-time. It’s Ms Chen’s ultimate responsibility and goal to coordinate between the three parties to work together as a team to achieve the ultimate success.

She has been in the human resources field for more than 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nanyang University.

Before joining the group, she was the project administrator of a group company. Prior to this, she worked for a period as a marketing analyst for an IT graphic design company.
